Here are some Boolean Search Strings I would use to Find Companies Actively Hiring. You can use these for any type of role.

There have been lots of layoffs so I'm just trying to help! These boolean search strings help you find hiring activity across LinkedIn and on google search.

LINKEDIN X-RAY — Recent Hiring Posts:

  1. site:linkedin.com/posts "we're hiring" OR "we are hiring" OR "join our team" after:2025-10-01
  2. site:linkedin.com/posts "open role" OR "open position" "[Your Role]" "[Location]" after:2025-10-01
  3. site:linkedin.com "now hiring" OR "currently hiring" OR "actively hiring" "[Role]" after:2025-10-01

LINKEDIN X-RAY — Company Career Pages

  1. site:linkedin.com/jobs "[Company Name]" "[Role]"

LINKEDIN X-RAY — Recruiters Posting Jobs

LINKEDIN X-RAY — New Hires (Signal of Growth)

HERE ARE SOME TIPS:

  • Adjust after:YYYY-MM-DD for recency (30–60 days works best)
  • Use OR operators for variations: "Product Designer" OR "UX Designer" OR "Design Lead"
  • Combine location terms: "San Francisco" OR "SF" OR "Bay Area" OR "Remote"
  • Add industry keywords: "SaaS", "fintech", "B2B", "startup", "enterprise"
  • Exclude job boards if searching company sites directly: -indeed -linkedin -glassdoor
  • Search specific ATS platforms: site:greenhouse.io, site:lever.co, site:workday.com
